Workshops
Workshops are perfect in a small(er) setting where people can learn a specific topic in a small time window. Learning the advantages of the Cloud, a specific C# pattern, or what to keep in mind when working with software security. The possibilities are endless. A good workshop falls or stands by the interaction with the speaker.
I offer different workshops, which are ready to be used. But customized workshops are no problem either. Below is a small list of workshops I provide, but there is much more.
How to learn C#
This workshop is not about how to develop software in C#, but what steps you need to take to learn the language. With information about the frameworks and places where you can go to actually learn the language. Cloud will be addressed too.
Clean code
Coding can get messy and you can get spaghetti code. So, what is a good way to keep your code clean and neat? How can you make sure your teammates can read the code?
In this workshop, I will go through examples of clean code. Talking about guidelines, coding styles, solutions to certain problems, and much more.
The 'C' in ICT
Nowadays it’s called IT, but it was ICT. The C stands for communication, a technique that is being neglected in many ways. In my workshop “The C in ICT” I am going to tell how we can communicate better. With real-life examples of what I witnessed I am going to show you that communication is the partial key to success
Coaching
There are coaches everywhere these days, so why am I talking about it? Well, coaching is pretty broad and there are coaches that make you come back every week. My coaching can be in a small setting about career advice, communication, or helping a team get where they need to go.
If you just hired juniors that don’t have a lot of experience I can tell them what to expect and how to move forward. Or do you have a team that is struggling moving forward or needs to know a specific subject? I can help with that too.
Events
Need someone that speaks on your behalf or your company at an event? I can help you out.
Representing you or your company during an event can be stressful and not everyone likes being in the spotlight. We can sit down, and talk about the options and what needs to be told. I will create the speech and presentation with you until you are fully happy.
We will conduct trial runs to make sure it’s exactly what you want and need.
Virtual
In this day and age, online and remote are the keywords of work. Therefore it’s also possible to hire a speaker for an online or remote event, workshop, or coaching.
I have everything needed for an online presentation or workshop. It is possible that I will arrange everything. From a virtual room (Zoom, Teams, etc) to the inventions.
